Art Hatch Fire Chief Chief Hatch has nearly twenty-five years of fire service experience and has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Hazardous Materials Technician, Airport Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and Training Chief. He has served as a District Liaison Officer for Oregon's Department of Public Safety Standards and Training since 1999, and has served on numerous training-related, standard-setting committees for that organization. A six-time graduate of the National Fire Academy, Chief Hatch has completed its Management Science and Training Programs curriculum. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fire Protection Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Service Administration, is a certified Executive Fire Officer by the National Fire Protection Association, and has authored numerous articles for fire service publications. |

| Rod Bjorvik Assistant Fire Chief Assistant Chief Bjorvik began his career with the City of Bend Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter in 1987 as well as working for the U.S. Forestry Service for three years in the Deschutes National Forest as an engine crew member and Engine Boss. In 1989 Assistant Chief Bjorvik joined the Sunriver Fire Department as a volunteer and became a full-time Firefighter in 1990. He was promoted to Captain in 1991 and Assistant Chief in 2001. He holds a variety of certifications in structural and wildland firefighting and is a paramedic. He is the department’s Operations Chief and is responsible for the department’s Reserve Firefighter program, apparatus acquisition, materials and equipment. |

| Don Willis Training Officer Captain Willis began his firefighting career with the California Department of Forestry in 1982 and joined the Sunriver Fire Department in 1985. Serving as the department’s Training Officer, Captain Willis is responsible for the training of new and current staff, serving as the designated safety officer at major incidents and coordinating the hiring and testing of new personnel. |

| Jared Jeffcott Captain Captain Jeffcott joined the Sunriver Fire Department in 1996 after beginning his career in 1992 as Volunteer Firefighter with the City of Bend Fire Department. Captain Jeffcott also served as a full time Paramedic with Metro West Ambulance in Washington County, Oregon for one year prior to coming back to Central Oregon in 1996. Captain Jeffcott is a shift officer and Paramedic. He serves as the department's EMS Coordinator responsible for insuring the very best, contemporary, medical care is provided to patients. |

| Jeff Ruthardt Captain Captain Ruthardt joined the Sunriver Fire Department in 2002 after starting his firefighting career in 2001 with a Tennessee fire agency. Captain Ruthardt serves as a shift officer and is the department’s inspection coordinator; insuring that facilities throughout the Sunriver community are in compliance with fire safety laws. He also manages the department’s safety committee. |

| Terri Hall Office Manager Office Manager Hall started with the Sunriver Fire Department in 1997 and currently manages all of the department’s administrative functions. Highly trained in fire office management, Manager Hall has completed all the requirements for certification in levels 1-3 of the OFSOA Accreditation program. |
